What Do Sloths Eat?

Sloths are known for being slow, and eating is no exception. They actually eat a small amount of food overall due to their lack of movement. They just don't need the calories! They like to eat things like leaves, twigs, and flower buds. While they mainly stick to leaves, they sometimes eat berries and have been known to eat insects, bird eggs, and small reptiles at times!
